About

I am an observational astronomer studying high-energy astrophysical phenomena (X-ray astronomy). I obtained my Ph.D. (Dyplom Doktorski) in Natural Sciences in the discipline of Astronomy from the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. My research focuses on accretion-powered systems across mass scales - from stellar-mass white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes in X-ray binaries, to tidal disruption events, and changing-look AGN powered by supermassive black holes - with a broader interest in how these systems interact with and are shaped by their host galaxies.
